"Chris, what're you doing after work?" Jose asked. He thought that Chris, like himself, was happily single, but he wasn't sure. Jose had mostly just seen Chris around the office and at office events, and so far no partner had appeared.

"Nothing much, Jose. You thinking of having a drink?" Chris replied, not looking up from his spreadsheet.

"Or, do you want to go for dinner?" Jose suggested.

"That would be great!" Chris replied, looking up and smiling. "Where are you thinking of?"
