As he moved closer to the counter to buy his food, Jerry glanced off to his left and noticed a 4-year old boy struggling to reach the straws on the counter, since he wanted one for his milkshake and his mother had already walked off. Instead of helping the lad (but then nobody else helped him either) Jerry just watched him struggling. Then he heard the little boy grumbling to himself. "I wish I was big."
What happened next confused the hell out of Jerry. It felt like everything was growing around him, when he infact he was shrinking. But his attention wasn't on himself, but rather on the little boy he had been watching. He watched the boy growing taller and taller until he had reached 6' 3" tall. But he was still in effect a little boy. Just... not so 'little' anymore, at least height-wise.
"What the hell!!" Jerry said, looking around at the other people, nearly all of whom now towerd over him. He was only 3' 3" tall and some people who saw him just thought he had an affliction that had stunted his growth. Jerry now also noticed the extra 'meat' he had gained following the fat chick's idle wish.
It was then that Jerry saw the gypsy he had been rude to. She was at the doorway and was looking rather smug. "So many unwanted and hated traits, and all you can do is stand and wait." She called over to you. Then she disappeared through the doors, just as the extremely tall young boy rushed back to his mother and sat down, having got the straw he wanted so badly.
This left Jerry completely stunned, and of course feeling more than a little insecure. He knew the gpysy was responsible for what was happening, but deep down... he also knew it was his own fault.
