A Little Taller

You suddenly feel yourself get taller. You look down to see high heels that went up at least half a foot. "MOM," you say angrily, "these are to uncomfortable." You look at your feet and try to walk, but fall down, unocustomed to the new height and shoes. Your mom smiles.

"Now you know how we woman feel about them," she says. Then, her face brightens up and she wishes something. You feel a little tingle and you look down at your feet to see that your toe nails are now painted pink. You get even more angry.

You have the following choices:

1. Challenge your mom.

2. Don't. It'll be safer to just endure.
