Chapter #3Do Wolves Hate Cats Too? by: wolffurry   As Varieo sat at a table to eat his food, he was getting some weird glances from his fellow friends.
"Um, guys, why do you keep looking at me that way?" he asked.
"Oh, no reason. Your hair just looks longer than before." One of them said.
"Uh, what do you mean by that?"
"Well, I could have sworn that your hair was shorter this morning, that much I can say."
"Come on guys, my hair doesn't grow that fast."
As they continued their meal, Varieo noticed some hair on the back of his hand, and it was spreading!
"What the!?" he shouted in surprise.
"What? What happened?" asked one of his friends in concern.
"Uh, I g-gotta go!" he said before running off.
As he ran out the cafeteria, he passed by Bloono, who dropped his celery stick, and Varie, who almost got knocked down by Varieo.I his panicked haste, he didn't even hear them calling his name.
As he reached the bathroom, he made sure it was empty before closing the door and locking it. Varieo looked at the mirror and noticed his hair has gotten a bit longer...and spreading too. He looked at his arms and saw it was growing fur all over, except for the arm that had the bandaged hand. The whole arm was covered in fur. He took off the bandage and saw the cut marks are completely gone for some reason. Not only that, but his hands were growing claws too.
"What the hell kind of cat was that!? Now I'm mutating from it!"
It wasn't long before his ears moved to the top of his head and grew long and pointed. His face grew a long snout, a long furry tail burst out of his pants, and sharp claws ripped his shoes to pieces. He stood there in the empty bathroom, looking at the reflection of an anthropomorphic wolf in the mirror. He touched every detail of his new lupine body, not wanting to believe a single second of what happened.
"This isn't real, this isn't real at all! Cat scratches don't just mutate people into animals! This can't be happening!"
After a few minutes of talking to himself, Varieo finally calmed down enough to think about what to do next...At least, until the next unexpected thing happened.  indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
