Varieo's tail!

Varieo was in the bathroom, trying to wash out the cut, when he felt a pain in his butt.

The boy turned around to see what was wrong with himself and saw a long tawny cat's tail, which had ripped through his pants.

"What?!?" he exclaimed, jumping in surprise. 'Okay, this has to be some kind of trick...'

Varieo tried moving the tail to test his theory and discovered that it moved in the direction that he had commanded it to. He even pulled on it, only to be rewarded by a sharp pain.

"Ow!" he yelled. Varieo glanced at the mirror and saw that his eyes were now more feral, and his ears seemed to be moving.

"Hang the Nurse! I need to get to a hospital!"

The young, mutating boy then ran off when...
