Kaylee gives you one last squeeze before she follows Monica inside. On the way inside Monica turns around to look at you and glares. She walks right past you, opening up the front door then shutting it behind you.
I give Kaylee a confused look, then go after Monica.
Monica walks into the kitchen and you follow behind her. She turns around to look at you and continues to glare. Her hands are on her hips and her whole demeanor is just anger. Behind you, you hear Kaylee talk to herself. "Oh no, she's going to be mad!"
Monica's glare softens a bit as she sees you looking a little fearful. "Okay, I know it was probably an accident, but I still need to have a few rules set down. Number one, this is my house and only my house, and you will follow my rules while you are under my roof."
Meanwhile Kaylee is standing in the doorway watching the two of you with big eyes.
"W-was it really that bad?" I ask sheepishly.
Monica turns to look at you with a mixture of pity, concern, annoyance... basically too many emotions to list right now. "First, you are going to stay in the guest room for tonight. Second, if you want to stay here more than the night, you're going to have to do things to make me happy. And third, you are going to do whatever I ask you to do. Do you understand me?"
Afraid that she might be serious, I agree to everything. "I understand. Yes."
She smiles at you and claps her hands. It is clear that she is happy with you. "Good. Now, do you need any help putting on more clothes or can you figure it out by yourself?"
Behind her Kaylee is just standing there wide eyed. Clearly she did not expect her older sister to be like this, especially to her cousin.
"What do you mean putting on clothes? like borrowing something?" I ask confused.
She rolls her eyes, a little amused at your innocence. "What you are wearing right now isn't fit for a guest, it's gross and sweaty."
