George was staring out the window as he sat in the back seat as his younger sister Louise drove them to the restaurant for their mothers birthday, his older sister Elaine navigated. The three had been arguing about the gifts and now sat in silence, at least until...
"I just saw a dog" George said.
Louise did a sharp u turn and said "where?"
"I see it, it's sitting at the light" Elaine added.
Louise parked the car and Elaine and George got out, the dog dropped something from in it's mouth and ran off.
20 minutes later and no luck finding the dog, they gave up when their mother texted them asking where they where. George had picked up and began examining the thing from the dog's mouth, it was an amulet.
"Weird" George said.
"What" Elaine asked.
"This thing says 'Wanna Bet?' on the back"
Suddenly the amulet began to glow and the 3 found themselves in a white void and a voice spoke to them "Congratulations, you three are the new bearers of the power of the bet. Bets made between any combination of you three shall be able to alter reality, be it the competition the punishment or the reward.
The three of them found themselves back in the car, and Louise started driving.
