Shaggy and Scooby walked into the room to tell the others there was nothing unusual in the kitchen. Before they could even get a word out, the statue's eyes flashed again, bathing the room in a strange light.

As the light receded, Velma and Daphne looked around. They still looked the same (with Daphne having Velma's body below the neck and Velma having Daphne's), so they immediately looked to the boys.
