The rest of the summer had flown by not in much different of a manor than the first half had, Molly was still busy bustling about the house, Fred and George were still in everyone's faces and Ginny was still on her couch and still eating day in and day out. George's joke had actually partially come to fruition, on the few occasions Ginny did get up (usually to get something from the kitchen) a faint indent could be seen of her body on the couch, not because of her size but because of the constant existence of pressure on that spot.
As you could gather George's teasing did nothing to slow Ginny's eating, if anything she increased her consumption afterwords with each day bringing increasing amounts of food to go through her gullet into the seemingly endless pit that was her belly. And it was a bit of a belly by this point she had gained almost double what she had in the first part of the summer bringing her total gain to about 14lbs. Luckily for her the chub had started to disperse its self to other parts of her body at this point, she still was gaining at her gut now a slightly noticeable roundness mostly while sitting down while standing it protruded perhaps a inch outwards no more. Her breasts had also received some of the new mass on her body now forming respectable B cups, though she didn't realize because she rarely changed out of a T-shirt and sweat pants. At a glance she looked pretty much the same but this didn't stop the torments from Fred and George, but to their great disappointment she had learned to ignore their glib remarks telling herself they were just being their usual annoying selves and that she hadn't gained much weight if any at all. She was so confident in this in fact that she would usually face one of their jokes by shoving her mouth full with as much food as humanly possible until she could eat no more.
What she seemed to be unaware of was the exponential increase in the amount of food required to fill up that hungry belly of hers, with each day's gorging she was expanding the limits of her stomach so each day she would eat more and more.
Molly realized what was happening to her once petite daughter and knew that if something did not change quickly in the girl's lifestyle there may be no going back to the skinny body Ginny once knew but Molly figured that everything would go back to normal once Ginny returned to Hogwarts and a few extra pounds wouldn't hurt, the curves might even look good. This was the line of thinking that made Molly so happy when the owl arrived with the back to school list, it was time for everything to return to normal for her (not so) little girl.
