Sonic wakes up one morning and checks his mail, where he finds a strange package. It is a small box that comes from a jewelry company, "I didn't order anything, but it has my address..." he thinks aloud as he carries it inside. He opens it up and discards the box it came in, and takes a look at the gift.
It is a small black ring box, inside is a strangely metallic-looking silver ring with ridges and a ruby heart in the center of it. Sonic shakes his head, "This thing looks weird, what am I supposed to do with it?" he asks, looking inside it curiously. He sees his own name, "Sonic the Hedgehog" written inside. "That will make it hard to explain, must be a prank... but this looks too expensive to be a prank." he says.
His hand takes the ring and puts it on, but it doesn't even look like it will fit. He manages to get it past his knuckle, starting to think this is a bad idea. He tries to take it off, but it's already started growing. The metal spreads over him like a suit, a burning sensation at the edges as it spreads. His form is slowly changed to be more feminine, with hardly a belly. The color of the suit turns blue, and most of his features stay the same.
