Fireworks

If Charlie hadn't had such a poverty stricken life, he never would of even noticed that there was a soft little layer of fat on his chest. Normally, he was so thin, his ribs were as clear as day. But now, there was only the slightest indication. To some, gaining such weight would have been bad. But Charlie saw it as a sign that his life was becoming all he could ever want it to be. He was lost in thoughts of it for a moment before he felt a surge coming up from his gut. He thought it was a burp, but gas didn't escape past his lips. A firework that soared in the air for a bit before popping in a dazzing display of color.
"Guess it wouldn't be the Fourth of July without fireworks," commented Charlie, admiring Mr. Wonka never ceasing to amaze genius. He watched for a bit as the fireworks flew up and exploded, but he remembered his task at hand and returned to his taste testing task as he chose another button.
