"I will fight with Alaina."
"Very well"
With those words she picked Alaina and I up and dropped us in the arena. along with two tigers and a lion. she then gave each of us a needle and told us to fight to the death.
the tigers can smell us now and are makeing theyre way towards us at a fairly fast clip and looked fairly hungry, lucky for us Alaina happened to be a fairly skilled swordsman because she'd taken fencing lessons since she was 5, and she had been teaching me some things but compared to her i sucked.
as i watched alaina spin off to the left and in one quick thrust, peirce the tiger in it's throat thus dispatching it, fairly quickly to i might add. with this i realize that the lion and tiger were about a yard from me fighting over me, or alaina, not sure which. seeing this made me think i had an opening, i should have known better considering how smart my sister is. they then both turn and swing at me from theyre left sending me flying into the wall. where i lay slightly dazed wondering if Ali was alright. a few moments later i got back up and stood there and watched as Alaina twirled pirouetted and rolled, while attempting to dispatch the lion and tiger. once again me being an idiot decided to try and help, ran up and through pure luck stabbed the tiger. in the rear thigh. a whole lot of good that did, when i turned tail and ran it could still keep up. however alaina only had one opponent to deal with now, and i was still running fairly strong, thank god for track and soccer.
whilst running i noticed that my sister was no longer by the table i started to get a little worried. surely she cant be thinking of leaving us in here can she i thought to myself. with this thought i whipped around, planted the dull end of the needle in a crack in the table for back support and watched the tiger run into it. so thats two tigers down one sister gone one Dan, and one Alaina still alive. fun fun.
thats when i remembered the lion. just as alaina called out to let me know that it had abandoned her and come after me i turned toward her and this probably saved my life. as the lion swept by me bearly missing me i whippd around to try and peirce its skull with the needle only to realize... it didnt miss me, however adrenaline numbed the pain and i didnt feel it. as i collapse, alaina takes out the lion in one swift stroke just as my sister walks back by the table.
