Disgusted by the taste in his mouth and at what he just done he decided that this was his last chance to escape. He'll worry about changing back later, he just needs to get away from his sister! Dan reached for the leash to untie himself, but the moment his hands touched the leash they began to cramp. He let out a whine as his fingers pulled into his hand. Dan watched in despair as the tips of his fingers shrunk away while his fingernails grew thick and black. The fingers continued to shrink until they formed into his new paws, his thumbs shrinking even further, pulling themselves onto his wrist forming into useless dew claws.
Dan stared dumbstruck at his former hands, no longer useful for picking up objects, let alone undoing a leash. Feeling the cool spring air blow against his fur, Dan whined again. Looking at the warm inviting house, Dan saw his parents and sister going about their normal lives through the lighted windows. He saw his mom walk into the kitchen and a few moments later bring out a birthday cake fully lit with candles. His newly sensitive hearing could faintly hear them happily singing "Happy Birthday."
He looked around the yard, it was dark, he was alone, naked and to top it all off it was starting to rain. It was too much, being slowly turned into a dog by his sister and there didn’t seem to be anything he could do about it. Unable to help himself, he began to cry. Tears and rain streaming down his furry face, he crawled on his paws and feet into the dog house. Curling up on the plastic floor, Dan slowly cried himself to sleep.
Dan woke up the next morning after having terrible nightmares about his sister and dogs. He yawned and looked around.
"No!" He yelped. "It can’t be real. It can't! No please!."
Tears started to flow again as he woke up to his nightmare, laying outside tied by a leash in a doghouse. He was still covered in fur, he still had front paws, a wet dog nose, dog ears, dog genitals and a tail. He lay back down on the floor of the dog house, there was no way he could deal with another day of this! He and his sister never got along, but he would never have done anything so horrible to her, had she always been this evil?
The lawn was wet from the previous night's rain. It was no longer raining, but the overcast skies mimicked his mood. Why couldn't his parent's see the monster his sister obviously is? Why have they forgotten him and why won't they help? Dan began to growl at the house, anger building up inside of him. While their only son lays naked in a dog house out in the rain they give his sister her favorite cake and sing "Happy Birthday!" Now furious he got up onto all fours walked out of the dog house and screamed at the house.
"You fucking bitch! Turn me the fuck back! For the love of god why won't someone help me!"
The only response Dan got back was the neighborhood dogs barking.
His throat sore from the force of his yelling, Dan realized he really needed to go to the bathroom. Resigned to not being able to use a bathroom, he walked over to a nearby bush, lifted his leg and peed. Dan felt better about relieving his bladder and had an old sense of satisfaction for marking his scent in his yard. Not finished yet, he sniffed around the yard, noticing smells he didn't recognize, before finally squatting over the yard and emptying his bowels.
From the back door Kat watched his brother go in the yard like a dog and smiled. After Dan finished Kat walked outside and up to Dan.
"I see you tried to escape again Dan." Noticing Dan’s new front paws. “Why won’t you just accept it?"
"What the fuck do you want?" Dan growled.
"Wow, getting a little aggressive aren’t we?" She smirked.
"What the hell do you expect? Your turning me into a dog, you’ve stolen my life!"
"I see we’re in the anger phase." Dan just growled in response. He was getting real pissed off, how dare she talk to him like this after what she’s done! "Don't worry boy, I'm sure you'll start feeling better after you lose your doggie virginity later today." Kat laughed. "I was going to let you back into the house, but I think you need to stay out here a little longer and learn your new place." Dan continued to growl as Kat walked back into the house.
