She shrinks Dan to control him

He found himself surrounded by the giant fibers of the fushia shag throw rug his sister had gotten for her normal birthday just last year. He had become tiny and was stunned with the transformation and new excitement of finally She scooped up her brother and carried him carefully into her closet where she stood on tip-toe to reach a box high on the shelf. After dumping the random trinkets, nail polish and forgotten makeup onto the floor she put Dan into the box.
"Oh, Mom is going to be so mad at me for this mistake!" she rummaged through her top drawer to find a long scarf perfect for securing the top of the box. After all, she didn't want him to try to escape and then get lost. She continued to talking ,"I'll have to fix you later Dan I have to go for now! Important... um ..stuff."
She stuffed the book into her oversized leather purse and grabbed her cell phone from the bedside table on her way out of the door and down the hall.
Dan heard the echo of the front door slamming shut. He hoped she wasn't really going to be as heartless and evil as he knew she could. He hoped she was going for help.
