Others: A Halfling

The Halfling could remember the raiders on horseback with tridents, hooks and nets. They'd raided his Clan's entire territory, from his home in the marshes to the bordering steppes. He didn't know where any of his other Clansmen and women were taken, as the other cells next to him were filled with a variety of creatures.

"Look who's awake!" said a guard, walking towards his cell. With his bludgeon he banged on the bars and one of his comrades followed close behind, holding keys. The second guard unlocked the door, which was when the Halfling realized that his wrists were shackled. They had him walk forward past an open door, where he saw...
