"bigger AND stronger!" Chopper was practically jumping up and down in excitement. "See, I used those roots and leaves we found on that last island and, through the chemical process of blah blah blah"
Zoro just stared blankly at Chopper as he babbled on about chemistry, medicine, and other boring things that held zero interest for Zoro. But, he DID hear something that was pertinent to his interests. A special liquid that made him bigger and stronger? He wanted some of that! He would do whatever it took to become stronger, as a person and as a swordsman, and if this stuff helped do just that, then there was nothing to think about.
"Hey Chopper!" Zoro said loudly, his deep voice cutting through Chopper's high pitched childish one.
"Y-Yeah Zoro?" Chopper wilted a little, thinking he was going to get yelled at.
"What are you planning on doing with that stuff?"
"Huh? Oh! I was going to run some tests on it. I don't know how well it works and the whole thing is still pretty unstable. You see..."
Zoro rolled his eyes as Chopper launched into yet ANOTHER lecture about...something, Zoro stopped listening before he even started. This was going to get him no where.
"You want to test it? Test it on me!" Zoro said, leaning down and snatching the vial from Chopper's hoof.
"Huh?" Chopper stared at his empty hoof for a second before screaming. "No! No! You can't drink that yet Zoro! The effects are unpredictable! You could end up killing yourself!"
Zoro lifted up one boot and planted it on Chopper's face. "Settle down kid! Nothing like a little drink is going to kill me! All that's going to happen is I'm going to get stronger and you're going to get your test results!"
Chopper shook his head, waving his arms around, trying to warn Zoro about the dangers of the chemical but Zoro wasn't listening. He popped the cork off with his thumb, tilted his head back, and emptied the vial into his mouth. The liquid splashed inside and with a single gulp, disappeared down Zoro's throat. He tossed the vial aside and patted his stomach. "Not bad! Tasted like limes!"
Zoro stepped off Chopper's face and the little reindeer instantly jumped back up, looking worried. "Zoro! You don't understand! That stuff was unstable! I don't know how big or how strong you'll get! We're in the middle of the ocean! This could be disastrous!"
Zoro rolled his eyes and said, "Stop worrying so much. What's done is done!" He flexed his arm and his normal, but still impressive, bicep rose up. "Hey...when is this stuff supposed to take effect?"
Chopper fidgeted and said, "I don't know! I haven't run any tests on it! You're the first one to drink it! That was my only dose too! Actually it was more like three or four doses..."
Zoro shrugged and said, "Well, I'm going back to lifting."
"Okay...I'm going to do some reading..." Chopper scampered off to his room to grab a few books he would need.
