Chapter #3Elrond, your employer by: Ryan "Marduk," said Elrond "I must speak with you."
You motioned him to go ahead.
"The ring is coming to Rivendell in the hands of a hobbit, Aragorn, son of Arathorn is leading the hobbit as well as three other hobbits that travel with him, they were supposed to be here by now, very few people are privy to this information, I am sending you and Lady Arwen to find out what happened to them and bring them to Rivendell safely, I'm still not sure if I can trust you completely, but I trust Murder, and she assures me you can be trusted,"
You nodded "I hope that in the future, you can find it in your heart to give me the trust I have so long tried to earn, Lord Elrond."
"As do I," said Elrond "But for now, you must make haste, Arwen is waiting for you in the stables."
You nodded and ran off to the stables. Arwen sat astride her horse, yours alongside it. You quickly climbed onto the horse and nodded to her. Both horses galloped across the Bruinen and galloped off on the road towards Bree.
"Aragorn is a ranger," said Arwen "He will not stick to the roads, he knows they will most likely be followed on them, we need to search the wilderness between here and Weathertop,"
You nodded, veering your horse off the road and trying to find the trail of the group while following a common search pattern.
You and Murder had used this pattern when hunting when they had escaped from Mordor. Now, combining it with your tracking skills, you had become an extremely good tracker, on par with the rangers of the North. As such, it doesn't take you long to find the hobbits and Aragorn. indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
