Out of habit you woke up at six, got showered and ready for school before you remembered that dragons usually dont go to school. When your mom came down after getting ready, you asked her if you had to go to school.
"Well, i havnt called the principle to tell her of your changes. So i guess you can stay home. But," now directing her gaze towards your anxious siblings with fingers crossed in hopes of evading thier torture. "That doesnt mean you can stay home from school." As a group they groaned and made comments like "i wish i had eaten those doughnuts!" "Thats not fair!" and other childish comments to show there displeasure.
A hour or so later they left you alone at the house. Your mom had offered to ook you some more ground beef but you lied and claimed you werent hungry. You still shudder just thinking about that nasty taste. But this left you very hungry and itching to go outside and hunt like a normal dragon would. But the meal came to you instead. A large fat cat jumped through a window and starting sleeping on the floor. You always hated cats, and were more of a dog person but this-this thing was just plain stupid. So much for animal instinct, you thought. Opening your jaws you quickly snapped up the pitiful creature and pushed its upperbody down your throat. It yowled and schreeched and began clawing at your throat, but the claws had no effect on you, inside or out. The tate of the cat was definatly better then the cooked beef, but it... it lacked some sort of flavor. So with a few quick swallows you allow the cat to drift downinto the hungry pool of flesh devouring acids. With that you headed to your room to practice a bit more flying skills such as evasive action. ad other finer techniques.
