"I hate it! I don't like being small," Deidre said to my disappointment. "This whole shrinking thing makes me feel so weak and fragile," I hoped Deidre enjoyed her new point of view. Bad luck for me. "Look at you. You're like 12ft tall to me. I know I'm the one that shrunk, but your size scares the hell out of me," Deidre pushed one of my hands off her shoulder like a toddler pushing her mother's hand away.
"Ow, Deidre you don't have to be scared of me. I would never hurt you and you know that," I comforted her, while I was admiring her cute small body. "I know...but you're so big and strong. Look at your arms they're more than twice as thick as mine. You could accidentally hurt me," the small woman said concerned.
"A caring mother would never hurt her child," I smiled stroking her cheek with my free hand. I had to admit to have a lot motherly feelings for Deidre at the moment. "Don't even think about it! I'm not going to play this game with you!," Deidre said angry and pushed my hand from her cheek.
"Why would you think I want to play games?," I responded pretending to be unaware. "I know that look. It's the same look I had in my eyes when Claire was little, so stop playing games with me and return me to normal!," I sighed and got back on my feet. "Alright then, I'll try," I grabbed the remote and pointed at Deidre. "Try? You'll grow me back! Or I'll have your butt!," Deidre said slightly angered, but she was glad I would turn her back to normal.
