Preparing for infinite growth

The feeling of growing felt incredible. That short burst that brought me to 10 feet was so amazing I couldn't even begin to think what a much bigger stream of growth would feel like. I wanted it more than anything else in the world right now. I didn't even care about what was going on in my surroundings, all I could think about was getting as big as I possibly could.
Unfortunately the remote didn't seem to grow alongside me so it wouldn't take long for me to outgrow being able to use it. I didn't want to have to get someone else to use it for me because I don't think I could trust anyone to keep firing once they think I've gotten "too big", as if it was even possible for me to get too big. The sky was the limit and I was going to get as giant as I possible.
Looking around and thinking for a minute I suddenly came up with a genius idea. I picked up a small rock from the ground and placed it on one of the buttons to test out my theory. It worked just as I hoped; the rock was enough to weight down the button as a beam shot out of the remote. It hit me square in the chest and I felt my body expand a little more up to 15 feet. Waves of pleasure shot through my body at the sudden growth, but I didn't want to get started just yet. I had to angle this perfectly if I wanted to keep myself growing for as long as possible. If I just placed the remote down on something I could easily knock it over or grow to the point where it can't reach me any more. Using another rock I was able to balance the remote so it was facing upwards at a 45 degree angle with the beam aimed at open sky.
Perfect, I thought to myself. With this setup I would be able to just keep walking backwards as I grew in order to stay in the beam for as long as I wanted. I was completely addicted to growing from just that small burst and I was about to permanently get my fix. I placed the rock back on top of the button and a continuous yellow beam shot out of the remote into the sky.
Taking a second I slowly breathed in and out. Shortly after mentally composing myself I licked my lips with anticipation as I stepped into the beam and grew...
