The expansion and streamlining operation that occurred was more than incredibly effective. It was so incredibly effective that a new age had begun in the empire. A "Soft Age", or "Age of Fat" easily spread across the entire empire. Common folk were able to feed their families like never before and even the homeless were more than easily well fed. Dragons would stuff their faces as full with food as they could, not caring about moderation. Once thin dragons were thick and thick dragons were incredibly thick. A new phenomenon occurred in the empire's society, a lust for fat. The fatter a dragon was, the more children he or she was likely to have.
Spyro and much, MUCH more so Cynder caught on to this trend. Spyro had gotten fatter, though not enough to make movement difficult, while Cynder was an eating machine with two black holes for a stomach. The purple worried about the ever growing mounds of fat that consumed his mate. Cynder on the other claw seemed only worried about trying to fill the monsterous, unfillable cavern of her body.
