It felt like several chains were pulling him back to the darkness, back to his prison, but he fought with all of his might to break free, to head to the dazzling light at the end of the tunnel.
He was so close. Just one more... He felt the restraints that held him break, and he fell forward into the light. A sinister purple smoke rose out of the Pool of Visions that resided in the temple of Warfang. Two glowing yellow eyes appeared smoke, the pupils slits.
Those eyes looked around the room with confusion before it recognised where it was. It frown and a evil laugh filled the room. Yes! He had done it! Malefor the Eternal had cheated death ones more.
He had escaped the prison that was going to hold him for all eternity. But, Malefor knew, he was only halfway done with his master plan. He had left his physical body trapped in the crystal, a useless, empty husk. Malefor had to forge a new body for him, and he had a few plans to do just that.
The first was to possess a unlucky beings body. Malefor had no idea how much time had past while he was trapped in the crystal. Time seemed non-existent there. It could have been months, days, years, millenniums!
But there was bound to be a dragon that he could corrupt enough to possess. If he didn't fashion that plan, he always had another, which involved impregnation. He could insert himself in a random dragoness' womb and grow himself a brand new body!
But even that had a few problems. She could abort him, or his soul could be split up into dozens of eggs. He was taking a major risk impregnating a dragon.
Or he could simply mess with people. Malefor was back in the world of the living. Though he didn't have a physical form, he still had some magical powers. Perhaps he could find his nemesis, Spyro and Cynder, to play with...
