The next morning, Naruto quickly gets up and takes a shower. New memories tell him that he needs to undo his pony tail to properly clean it. With his long hair now free, Naruto notices that it reaches the small of his back. Getting in the shower, Naruto quickly cleans himself, gets out and dries off, Pulling his hair back into a pony tail, Naruto eats breakfast and rushes out the door and gets to the academy just in time to see Hana walking way. With no time to spare, Naruto focuses on Hana's face and preforms the swap jutsu. Unable to see if the swap worked, Naruto has no choice but to go inside. However, Naruto does not remain ignorant of the swaps success for long.
