Steve hugged back. "It's what friends are for." he told Barry. "Don't think any more about it. You are going through a rough patch and I want to help you any way I can. Besides you cook a killer breakfast. "
"eating is the only thing that makes me feel good these days. Guess that's not hard to notice." Barry slapped his belly.
"It's contagious." Steve laughed. " I probably put on on 5 pounds trying to keep up with you this morning"
Barry watched Steve drive away. It had been great spending time with Steve. They had always been good friends ever since their first class together at college. But he didn't have to nerve to confess that for Barry, their relationship had changed. Steve was still a good friend, maybe Barry's best and oldest friend but as Barry realized that he really wasn't attracted to women he realized that he loved Steve. He had wanted to confess last night, hoping that Steve might at least accept his new feelings but the fear of losing Steve's friendship made him hold back. He longed to take Steve in his arms but that would probably never happen. As usual lately Barry's frustration made him hungry. Steve
