"You're right," Marina says, "I think this is more important than grades." Their sock clad toes are completely exposed as thier feet swell to a size 10 US. Marina and Ryoko make their way to the exit as the sides of their shoes begin to tear to accomodate their expanding feet. "Uhhh, Marina. Do you smell that?" Ryoko asks.
"Yeah, it's a bit faint but it smells like its getting slightly stronger. It smells like the time we wore the same socks for a week straight." Marina replies. She clasps her hands over her mouth in disbelief and looks over at her friend. "Don't tell me."
Ryoko nods her head as she replies, "Yup, our feet are starting to smell."
Their shoe laces begin to snap apart, one by one, as their feet swell to a size 11, their toes becoming slightly visable through the stretched material of their socks.
As they walk outside Ryoko says, "My feet are starting to feel different."
"Mine too," Marina replies. they both look down at their feet.
