Chapter #5

Blamed for the wrong thing.

by: Donald Lasseter Author IconMail Icon
Awoken by a pain in her stomach from a previous meal, Jessie leans up and rubs her taught stomach through her nightgown.
"I'm still so full." she moans as she stands up from her bed, the weight in her stomach throwing her off balance slightly. As she looks at her belly, she realizes she can no longer see her feet with it so full. It then gurgles, letting her know it is overstuffed.
She remembers her mom giving her sprite to help stop pain in her stomach.
Quietly, she makes her way to the kitchen for a drink to soothe her stomach, which is groaning as she walked. Once she made it into the kitchen, she turns on the light.
With the light on, she starts looking around for a drink. She checks the pantry, but is unable to find anything. Seeing no other option, she opens the fridge in hopes to find one.
"I see one." she whispers as she reaches for it.
Without thinking, she opens it up with a loud pop and begins to slowly drink it. With each sip she takes, she feels her stomach swelling slightly larger than before, though the pain is leaving. After 3 minutes, she has half of the can in her stomach, which now has no pain.
"That makes my tummy feel so much better." she says as she opens the fridge to put her drink back inside, not knowing someone is behind her.
"Hungry again, darling? How about I make you some more food?' her mom asks.
Jessie turns around with her large stomach throwing her off balance again.
"No mommy, my tummy was really full and it hurt. I wanted a sprite to make it stop hurting. I am still really full though." Jessie claims as she puts both hands on her round stomach.
