"No way!" You proudly exclaim. "Is that really the best you got?" Your sword has stuck itself in the pavement nearby, but you are undeterred. Palutena raises an eyebrow at your ready fists.She stares at you like you're a staggering drunk. "No little man, that's enough. You'll only hurt yourself.This is over." Pet. Little man. Mortal. You're sick of this woman condescending to you! The woman now bends down to pinch your cheeks. "Be good loser and come along. It's time you serve your goddess."
Your blood boils and you do something stupid. You let out a furious right hook aiming for her face. Palutena backs off with a gasp, her eyes narrow and the light around her intensifies. You curse yourself, attacking an unaware opponent is dishonourable. You mutter and stammer apologies but it doesn't soften Palutena's bitter glare. You pull your sword from the ground and sheathe it into the scabbard. "Look" You begin. "I'm sorry, can I make it up to?" The goddess finally speaks. "Why are you sorry? We're fighting aren't we? Isn't that what you want?" She shoots you point blank with a magic blast and you smash into the wall again. You struggle to your knees but are knocked away with another burst. You lie on the floor, head spinning and every muscle groaning in pain. All you can see is Palutena's sandals that stop floating and start walking towards you.
"Fool! You repay my kindness with such rudeness, fortunately I'm merciful to give you another chance for redemption." The sandals stop walking right before your face. You notice some of the odor coming from them and your nose scrunches in disgust. Her toes are long, wiggling with anticipation. "From here on out, you'll spend your time under my feet. Until I deem you worthy for anything else. Why don't you show me your gratitude?"
