Jeff Stevens was a native resident of elm street, and well aware of the legends . Having just turned 14 he didn't believe in you, because that was just nonsense. Kid stuff really. But you were out to get him, using his secret fear of being eaten. Nothing should happen to him. After all you were just a myth. Right?
