Clearing his head he tried getting his thoughts to straighten out, he needed to stop thinking like that, it would only get him in trouble. "Look I need to know what's happened, why I'm here, I don't even know who or what you are." That seemed to annoy her a little, "My name is Celes, and I'm a Faerie." His eye's opened a little at that and despite his surprise it made sense to him. She certainly was the spitting image of a faerie, and she was certainly a pretty little thing. She wore a pretty blue dress that pushed her breasts together and showed off her long pretty legs. She fluttered about Derek her hair hanging down in her pretty face as she curiously examined him from all sides, and for his part Derek's eyes were more than busy examining her petite form. However, as she noticed his look she quickly fluttered out of reach, her face showing fear and even a little anger. "You aren't thinking of eating me are you?" she demanded. Derek was completely taken aback though a little ashamed that somehow that odd thought had passed through his mind, "Wh-what? Why would I do that?" Seeing his expression she sighed in relief, "Some creatures like to eat faeries, humans do too sometimes, I was worried because of the way you looked at me." That confused him a little, "Why would they eat you?" She looked a little afraid again, "Well... we're nutritious."
He shook his head in amazement, this was a crazy place, "So where is this forest? Is it near New York?" Celes' head turned slightly at that, "New York?" Derek couldn't help but feel a little impatient, "The Big Apple, America's Mecca, The capital of the world, you know," She stared at him blankly, "Brevis has no capital, and I don't know of any giant apples," Derek sighed in frustration, "What's Brevis?" She looked at him even more oddly, "Brevis is our world," Derek stopped dead, "World? This isn't Earth?" She quietly shook her head at him, and he sat down heavily. She quickly fluttered up to him, "Don't worry human, come with me, We'll help you get out of the forest." Derek slowly stood up, still a little shaken from the revelation, "Who's we? and my name is Derek, not human." She smiled at him and apologized in her sing song voice, "Sorry Derek, us faeries will help you though," Derek's stomach growled and she looked back at him apologetically, "Sorry, but we really can't spare any food, your a little too big, but maybe we can find you something to eat when we get you out of the forest," indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
