(Hi, monsterfarts here. Same guy who wrote the previous chapter, except I got banned for it so I made a new account. I suppose I was breaking the rules, but if they banned you for that, there wouldn't be anyone left on this website.)
As it turns out, you're feeling rather wicked... and creative. What a wonderful combination! The quarterlings haven't had a visit from you in quite a while, hm? A few weeks at least. Yes. It's time to remind them why they should fear you.
You pivot your vast wings and begin traveling towards their adorable little village. You could probably destroy it without breaking a sweat if you wished, but they amuse you greatly, and you aren't so cruel to completely destroy the livelihood of such an honest, hardworking people. But, you suppose it wouldn't be so bad if you 'borrowed' one of them for a day. Or two.
You hone in on the village, cute little smoke stacks plume into the sky and the distant sound of hammers striking steel is clear in your ears. Once they spot you, they either run, which is wise, or scramble to their hastily-constructed defenses. You roll your eyes as you easily move out of the way of shoddy nets and splintering ballista bolts. They never learn, do they? You feel some form of punishment is necessary. Which one do you deliver vengeance upon?
Manning the net launcher is a thin and lanky man. They are freckled, with large eyes and a big nose. You've never seen this one before. They must be from somewhere else. They look very innocent, and you can tell you'd have a good time breaking them into shape...
On the other hand, the man launching ballista bolts is very, very familiar. They are bulky and muscled, with an eyepatch over one eye. An advanced prosthesis takes the place of their right leg. Admittedly, you're responsible for that one. It was an accident, though! They've actually hit you more than a few times. It's never downed you, but it's gotten close before. And now, he's at your mercy... once more. Arrogance deserves to be punished, you think...
