Appearing in the twilight of the forest was a faerie of Irish/Scottish legend, full of dislike for all things human and ready to do mischief. It had taken much time and energy for this fey creature of legend to cross the barriers of time and space to arrive in the here and now. Unhappy with the way humans had treated its kind throughout the years, it planned to make them pay! In the distance, the tiny creature could see the glow of lights in the gathering dusk. It immediately began flying toward the light. As it broke out of the trees, it could see a group of houses, far taller than any buildings of the humans it remembered. It became invisible as it continued to fly toward the buildings.

As it got closer, the faerie could see humans moving within the structures. It decided these buildings had to be houses, even though these houses were far and away bigger than anything it had ever seen. It slowed, still unsure of these houses and suddenly stopped moving as it smacked into the glass of an upstairs window! The faerie, furious at this, was still intrigued by the clarity of these windows. Before it destroyed the window and began wrecking havoc on those inside, it could hear the young girl within speaking into a small block of something, "Of course I'm coming to the sleep over. I'm heading for the shower right now and then I'll be there. I'll be bringing over a bottle of some good stuff, too." She paused, clearly listening to something or someone for a moment before saying, "Of course they don't know I'm bringing over a bottle of booze. I even got some smoke, too. Do you have rolling paper?" Another short pause and she said, "I'll see you in about forty-five minutes then. Bye!"

The young girl did something to the block and tossed it onto her bed, then stripped down to nothing. Instead of attacking the girl, the faerie hesitated. It thought fast, then decided it would go to this sleep-over. Whatever a sleep-over was, the faerie instinctively knew the chance to cause mischief had just multiplied several-fold. It would bide its time, for a while...
