The beam of light struck an old doll sitting on a shelf next to one of her cheer-leading prizes. The doll was engulfed in a golden light that hugged its surface. The light changed size. Slowly at first and them more quickly it grew from a tiny plastic toy to a more human size. It was hard to make out the details because of how bright it was.
Suddenly, there was a flash that looked like lightning. Ashley's vision was dazzled and she had to blink repeatedly. When her vision cleared again, she was no longer alone in the room. Standing where her doll was there was now a woman.
They say that if Barbie were a full sized human being she would be 5 feet and 9 inches tall. She would also have a 39" bust (E-G Cup), an 18" waist, 33" hips and a size 3 shoe. She would weigh 110 pounds and have a BMI of 16.24.
This is what the woman now standing in Ashley's room looked like, although, strangely, she was somehow able to stand on two legs even with her tiny feet and odd proportions. She wore a dress identical to the doll that had been on Ashley's shelf.
She took a step towards Ashley and said happily, "How might I serve you, mistress?"
