For as long as any human could remember, whether through the words of ancestors or history books, they had always been subservient to their wolf leaders.
The situation wasn't so bad; extended conflicts were nearly nonexistent, wars unheard of. The wolves were almost universally benevolent, after all.
Even in the modern age dissent and protests existed, although most wolves considered the possibility of equal rights a joke, the same way a wise elder could hardly expect a pup to be their equal. Even if a human publically advocated for equal rights, removing them peacefully and effortlessly was no problem; one swallow and they were effectively removed from the equation for thirty minutes at a time.
For the wolves, life on Earth was paradise.
For mankind, life was comfortable, but utterly demeaning.
Which side of the coin would you find yourself upon?
