Supreme Pack Leader watched the probes. The inhabitants of this planet were indeed primitive, but probably more advanced in certain ways than the Packs had once been. Many areas had stone buildings, and even stone paths linking different settlements. Two were fairly close to each other, the Pack of Rome, and the many small, yet allied Packs of the Greeks. There was another pack called the Hans, which had some trade with the Romans and Greeks, but mainly dealt with other smaller packs that were nearby. Then, over on the other side of the world was the Pack of the Mayans. They seemed to have a rather interesting culture where they would fight with fighters of the other nearby packs, capture those fighters, take them to the top of a tall building, where certain ones would cut the captive open, and pull out their organs, raising them to the sky.
"Pretty blood-thirsty people aren't they?" his mate asked.
"We were pretty blood-thirsty ourselves," said Supreme Pack Leader. "Let's not judge them too harshly." He looked at the Chief Engineer. "What do you think?"
"Truth be told, we could take this planet over," said Chief Engineer. "They outnumber us a hundred to one, but our technology is more than enough to overwhelm them. In fact, I doubt we'd take many casualties, and all we'd have to worry about is some scratches on our vehicles".
"I'm sure the Abductors thought the same thing when they first saw us," said Supreme Pack Leader. "We'll stick to the Plan of sending groups of ten to the main settlements of the major Packs on this planet, and negotiate for territory. Fight only in self-defense, retreat if need be, and try to minimize casualties. I'd hate to have to fight a war, but if we must do so, let's see that it is over swiftly. Notify the other Pack Leaders, and send the teams. The teams are to each consist of four Basic Infantry, three Recon, two Assault, and one Infiltrator. Infiltrator has the designation of Diplomat, and the others are their Guards. Hopefully they should be able to do this."
