Matthew, or Matt as everyone called him, was just gathering his things to head home from work when his boss Silvia Edwards came to his office and told him she needed him to stay to work on a project. He told her he had to get going to be able to see his son's little league game but she said she needed it done and told him he had to stay.
Matt hated her, she did this shit to him all the time, in fact she'd done this exact thing before saying she needed reports the net morning and then later he found out they weren't due till the next week! so as he set his things back down he expected to see her head back to her office but instead she went towards the elevator leaving him as the only one in the office and the sole employee working late. Dammit he hated Silvia for this but what could he do, if he stood up to her she could just fire him. Why was he the one she always picked on?
As he restarted his computer and sat back down he thought to himself, "just once I'd like to be the boss, maybe i could teach her a thing or two." Matt didn't know it yet but his thoughts had been overheard by chance, by otherworldly powers and the wheels were set in motion. He sent a message to his wife saying he had to work late and wasn't going to make it to his son's game but would be home as soon as possible.
