Chapter #2

Sounds Good To Me

    by: David
William dismounted outside the pub, and the hag asked him to follow her to the back entrance.

Why?

Well, you see lad, if you go through the front, you'll look like a customer! Other customers might get jealous. It's not every day you get a pint on the house.

Ah, I see...

William followed her around to the back, but quickly noticed there was no entrance. Before he could say anything, the hag pulled out a dagger and slit William's throat.

Sorry, lad. Money is money, after all.

She stole William's purse and other valuables, and left his corpse out behind the pub. Hours later, his body, mutilated by hounds and birds, was discovered by the pub's owner.

Not the best way to start an adventure. Next time, think before trusting a hag.

THE END.
