Several hours later Sam awoke slowly. He coughed slightly with a soreness to his throat as if he had a light cold. He had no remembrance of what has happened just a short while ago nor did he find the facehugger which had attacked him. Shortly after it left his face, the creature crawled of into the bushes and died having fulfilled its purpose.

He looked around to try and remember why he was where he was and could only assume he must have dosed off. He then recalled he was late to class and began to make his why toward the school. As he ran he noticed he had a small issue breathing, as if there was something keeping him from breathing normally. He coughed and just chalked it up to allergies.

Little did he know of the alien embryo gestating within his chest slowly growing to maturity. It was nearing the end of this period of its life cycle would soon exit its fleshy prison in due time. Meanwhile Sam had made it to the school unfortunately at the end of his first couple of classes, yet was still in time for lunch. He had gotten his food and though to himself that he would eat it out near the woods he had just left earlier, after all it was a nice day out.

Sam found a nice and peaceful spot to sit near some trees and small bushes and began to eat his lunch. Despite having miss some class time he was sure he could just make up the work later and just focused on the the taste of his food and the peace of the moment, all was well. That was until he started to cough again, making it hard to swallow his food. He subdued the first bout but was suddenly taken by another, more painful one.

This caused him to drop his lunch and and start to breath more frantically as though he were choking. This was clearly not the case however as he soon felt a slight pinching sensation in his chest and a growing stomach pain. He tried to steady himself in an attempt to left any food pass down but dropped on his back as a sudden chest pain hit him. He had never felt a pain so deep and intense before, as if something was compressing against his lungs. His breath became sort and stunted the the pains quickly became more and more sudden and faster.

He arched his back upward in a futile attempt to quell the pains when suddenly he heard a sudden crack come from his chest. As he gasped for air he looked down to see a bloody spot beginning to appear on his chest, then before he could think his spasms continued. Sam yelled and cried as hard as he could but to little use, no one could hear him. The cracks and painful spasms became more severe until finally

Sam arched his back upward one last time as his chest burst open in a rain of gore and blood. As the life slowly left Sam's eyes he could only hear a shrill shrieking cry coming from the small snake-like creature that just burst from his body, then the boy was finally taken by slow embrace of death as this newly born terror slithered its why out of the poor boy's chest and into the bushes to begin its growth into it's adult form. Meanwhile more of the other facehuggers scuttled about the forest floor searching for new hosts. Who will be the next victims of their sinister breeding?
