Emily hopped in the car with Tim, still completely unaware of what was happening and what was causing her to act this way. Why shouldn't she spend time with her boyfriend, she thought. Emily was completely lapsing into a teenaged girl, and had almost completely forgotten that she was in fact, her boyfriend's mother. In the back of her head, there was a nudging feeling that somethings was wrong, and every few minutes or so she seemed to remember something, but she just couldn't place her finger on it.
Her ex-husband, Richard, was quite nice to Emily as Maggie. As Maggie chatted away, he listened patiently and offered for her to stay for dinner. Obviously, Maggie agreed, as she had already told her parents she'd be gone until after dinner. When they walked in, Maggie and Tim headed down to the basement while Richard, as he had told Maggie to call him, prepared a quick dinner.
They simply sat on the couch, watching TV for a while. Before Maggie knew it, she was laying on Tim's lap, his hands combing through her hair as they talked about everything. Looking up into his eyes, Maggie sat up and gently brushed his lips with hers. Tim responded by pulling her in for a longer kiss, entwining his fingers in her hair.
Maggie felt something nagging her in the back of her brain, but she pushed it aside, wanting to focus solely on Tim. All of the sudden, they heard footsteps, and stopped, pulling away from each other quickly.
