Josh wanted to have some more fun with his cool new powers, but where would he go first?
Then he thought of Sean, that geeky kid from school who lived only three streets down from his own house.
Sean was very smart and he got straight A's in all his classes. He was really sharp and he always noticed everything. Sean was also an avid reader of books and comics. Needless to say, Sean had a massive comic book collection, which he inherited from his father and from his grandfather. He had gained boxes filled with literally thousands of comic books, which were each wrapped neatly in plastic bags and thin cardboard. Some of them were over forty years old!
Josh closed his eyes and concentrated on his friend when he snapped his fingers and focused on being at Sean's house. He disappeared from his bedroom and teleported to Sean's house, appearing instantly before the main entrance of his house. He rang the doorbell and waited. Josh decided not to teleport into Sean's bedroom just yet, because this was the first time he went to his friend's house since he gained his powers and he didn't want to scare him.
Sean opened the door and smiled right away. Sean was a few inches taller than Josh, and slightly more athletic. Sean had short, black hair and blue eyes.
"Hey, Josh! That's a surprise! Come on in!" he said, as he opened the door.
Sean and Josh walked into the house where Sean led his buddy into his bedroom.
"Hey! Want to play some video games?" Sean said.
Sean and Josh then took their game controllers and they spent about half an hour playing a game. Sean beat Josh easily since he was really good!
Josh looked around and spotted several comic book issue scattered all over Sean's bed.
"So, what are you doing? Are you reading some of your comic books?" Josh asked him, as he walked over to the bed and picked up one of the issues.
"Yeah! I found one of the issues of Superman from 1948... It's really old!" Sean grinned. "Superman is such an awesome hero! I wish he were real!"
Josh looked up at his buddy, who was standing next to the bed.
"Well, you would make a good Superman! You almost look like him!" Josh grinned.
"Uhh yeah but.... Having the costume is one thing... I wanna have his powers, too!" Sean sighed.
"Well, I can help you!" Josh smiled.
"What? What are you talking about?" Sean wondered.
"I'm God... I can make you into a superhero if I wanted to!" Josh explained.
"What? You're kidding!"
Josh continued reading the comic book as Sean stood there, feeling a weird tingling sensation which spread all over his body.
"Hey... What's going on?" Sean wondered.
Suddenly, Sean's muscles hardened! He felt his strength increase all over as every muscle started to inflate! His chest bulged out and his quads and calves gained more definition. His stomach gained washboard abs and his arms became muscular!
"What the---?"
Josh continued reading the comic book as Sean saw his shirt and jeans disappear. He was standing in his room wearing just his underwear when a thick, strong, stretchy blue-colored material like a body-suit began to cover his body. Red boots covered his feet up to his knees while a long, red cape draped over his broad shoulders. A red-and-yellow "S" symbol appeared on his broad chest as well.
Within minutes, Sean was looking exactly like a teenage version of Superman!
"JOSH! Look... Look at me!" he exclaimed.
Josh looked up and smiled.
"Yup! Just like in the comic book!" he laughed. "I got it right!"
"What? But... I... How...?" Sean stuttered.
"Let's go outside so you can fly around and try out your new powers?" Josh suggested.
