Chapter #3Making it to Macy's by: Spooky   Steve arrived at Macy's about 20 minute later, Really feeling rushed, he'd only been without his phone for nearly half an hour and was already feeling stressed, He had no idea what he had to do later today, he knew there was something at 7, was it work? School? Friends? He couldn't remember, that's why he needed his phone, and chasing after this girl, was really eating into his time.
At first, he aimlessly wandered through the store, staring at every woman he passed, though he wasn't quite sure he remembered what the woman looked like, he felt like he'd recognize her if he saw her again though, and so far, no dice.
Figuring he could narrow his search if he focused on the Women's clothing section, rather than the whole store, since she might not have even gotten here yet.
He slowly wandered awkwardly through the racks of clothes, feeling like a foriegner, not recognizing any of the women he passed
He's been here for nearly 20 minutes, he'd nearly wasted an hour looking for his woman, where had she gone, Her phone had said Macy's she must be coming here sooner or later.
He stuck with it, hanging out in the women's section, hoping to recognize her face somewhere in here, he absentmindedly browsed through the clothes looking for things in his size.
He had an idea, it was possible he'd missed her and could maybe be in the changing rooms. it seemed unlikely, but Steve was willing to try anything at this point.
He approached the dressing room, completely oblivious to the pile of clothing he carried with him.
"Dressing room 3 is open" The Sales associate told him.
momentarily forgetting his objective he went into the changing room.
suddenly his head cleared. "Wait, I meant to wait outside, why did I walk in here, and why was I carrying all these clothes, I'm losing my mind! I need to get my phone back now"   indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
