Option 1;: Vicky must rush out to get her errands done quickly, at night predators take to the streets and literally rule the town, Vicky however ends up stuck in town until night falls.
Option 2: Dragons are the highest class of citizen in the world, with powers like gods they can do whatever they wnat without anyone able to stop them, Vicky ends up meeting one.
Option 3: Mother nature is sick of the furry's rule over her world, so she grows normal animals to take over from the furs.
