This choice: Vicky is now the size of a flea! • Go Back... At first, all Vicky could see was a horrendously blurred rendition of the park, her sense of vision doing little to help her realize exactly what had just occurred. She did, however, realize she was now standing, something that understandably struck her as odd given that she was sitting only just moments again. She lifted her hands up, and rubbed at her eyes, before giving her head a good shake, in order to regain her senses. What she would open her eyes to see, however, would certainly serve to startle her.
What stood just a few feet before her was the same ring she had just found only minutes ago. However, to say it had undergone an impressive size change would be an understatement. The intricate metal works of the steel band stretched far above her head now. Heck, she'd need one tall ladder just to reach the top of it!
"Woah... That's weird!" She laughed it off to herself, thinking the ring had just grown to an absurd height, and turned to continue her walk. It was not until then that she would realize what had truly happened. She was standing on the park bench still... With the rest of the park stretching out beyond her for miles upon miles. Blurred figures of simply enormous figures went about their business far off in the distance, all of which sized appropriately to be gods and goddesses in their own rights.
Vicky's mind started to race. Had she shrunk? If so, just how small had she gotten? What the hell did that ring do to her? With her heart beating faster, in a state of panic, she looked around for some sort of answer. While she wouldn't very much like the sight she saw, she was completely awestruck.
Looming far ahead and above the ring, and, in effect Vicky, was the same wolfess she had sat down next to before. Absorbed still in her reading, the wolfess was a terrifying sight to Vicky. She had to be over a mile tall!
Vicky gulped, and set her vision back down to the ring. It seemed like she had two choices now, given that the plunge off the bench would be outright suicide. She could risk the ring again, and attempt to reverse the effects... Or she could try and get the wolfess' attention, however impossible that may seem.
After a small amount of thought, she decided to....  indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
