As much as it frustrates you, you try to ignore your present circumstances while Sarah is locked in your room and focus on watching television. Even getting lost in your favorite television show is a bit hard, however. You try to sit on the floor but become a bit dizzy at how larger everything looks to you. You decide to sit on the couch but that is no better. Your new size makes every experience strange. You feel much smaller in your favorite cushion, like the couch might start enveloping you and swallowing you whole.
The experience is almost frightening, you feel so vulnerable, small and exposed. Like the smallest breeze could topple you over. You swore you never felt this tiny when you were 8 yourself. Looking down and seeing your legs poking out of your sister's dress makes it no better. Even from the perspective they still looked like twigs. You were a twig. The entire situation still feels unreal.
Eventually enough time passes with Sarah still not having returned from your room and you feel your stomach start to growl. You hear the sounds of key's jangling and then the front door opens, your mom's face sticking in. She looks tired from the long day at the office.
"Hey princess." she said, it only taking a moment before you realize she's talking to you. "I got a pizza for dinner. Got get your brother, okay?" she asks, staring at you as she waits for your response.
