Registration was simple enough. However, because of the storm, dean Lila was just barely able to complete your transfer into their school with an explanation of your unique situation. She had just received a fax, confirming your enrollment into the school and a transfer of your information before the phone and satellite services shut down due to the storm. "Congratulations, Miss Cire Dollie." Grinning, Lila said. "You are now officially a student here at Feminine Rose all girls boarding school."
"Yay me." Pouting, you said. You tugged lightly on your skirt, causing Sarah to giggle.
"Pulling on it won't make the skirt any longer, Cire." Smiling, she said. "It's the standard size, you will get used to it after a while."
"There are many things Cire will have to get used to." Firmly but kindly, Lila said. "We will help you through them one at a time." She handed you a number of papers. "This is the school rule book, please read it carefully. Also, you have your class schedule, room key, and school map to help you navigate the halls until you learn your way around."
Sarah looked at your schedule and smiled. "Wow, your grades placed you in my grade!" Surprised, she said. "You have the same classes as I do. I'm impressed."
"He, or rather, she will have to maintain at least a 'B' average to stay in your grade level." Serious, Lila said. "That is the rules."
"Yes, ma'am." Nodding, you said.
Lila giggled. "Please, just dean Lila. 'Ma'am' makes me feel old."
"The new student introduction assembly should be starting soon." Looking at her watch, Sarah said.
"New student assembly?" Curious, you asked.
"It is where we introduce the entire school to the new students all at once." kindly, Lila explained. "However, this quarter, you are the only new student." She giggled at your fearful expression. "They won't bite you, Miss Cire."
You sighed. "Please, just Cire. The 'miss' part makes me feel weird."
Lila nodded. "Fair enough."
Minutes later, you were escorted into the main assembly hall where you felt the eyes of all two hundred students looking at you. Sarah gently urged you along as Lila walked up to the podium. "Ladies, we only have one new student this quarter due to the massive snow storm that is pounding the mountain region." Hiding a grin, she said. "Please welcome Mr Cire Dollie to our boarding school."
Gasps and whispers rose from the crowd of girls along with more than a few giggles. You blushed horribly and tried to hide behind Sarah but she held you firm by the shoulder. Dean Lila called for silence then explained your situation, being stranded at the school for the duration of the winter. She also explained her solution to the problem.
"Again, please welcome Cire to our school." Firmly but kindly, she said. "Let us all show him... or rather her, that we are a school of open minded women."
She then motioned you to approach the podium. You gulped and stepped up to the microphone.
"Um... Hello." Shyly, you said.
Giggles erupted from the girls as they responded, "Hello, Miss Cire."
