Conner always felt like he wasn’t enough. Being a skinny redhead, what really did he have to offer? Conner looked at himself in the full body mirror in his bedroom. His sweatshirt was droopy and his belt was the only thing holding his pants up. That was just his build: he was just a skeleton.
Conner really didn’t interact with very many people; he was the nerd in his grade. He had a small ring of friends who he geeked out with time to time, but he often found himself alone. All the alone time did allow him to focus on his school work, at which he excelled. But as Conner grew older, he realized there was more to just being “smart.” He struggled to hold conversations and was very awkward in his speech, so he often just didn’t speak at all. He vowed to change that.
Conner took note of all the other guys in his school and what they were doing to be a functioning member of society. They talked a lot, something that he needed to do. But he also felt that people listened to them bc they looked good. He had to admit, some of the guys were quite handsome, which he felt confused about. But he wanted to be like them.
After doing some research, Conner believed he found the solution to his problem. Online, he found a product titled “XL Male Enhancement,” a once-daily supplement for guys to boost their testosterone. Conner hoped that it would also increase the size of his member, which he believed was lacking. He wanted to be more attractive, and he thought girls would like that.
Conner ordered the product and it arrived at his house within a few days. He opened the package to find a big pill bottle with one month’s supply of the supplement. Opening the bottle, he took a pill out to look at it: it was bright green and had “XL” imprinted on it.
Getting ready to take his first one, Conner pondered for a moment. Was this really a good idea? Would this help him in the long run? Or was this just himself being desperate to escape the “nerd” status he bore in high school? He wasn’t exactly sure. To take his mind off of it, he read the pill bottle.
”Results so fast they’re almost instantaneous! You’ll be feeling more masculine in no time at all!” It said. This convinced him. He wanted those results.
Opening the bottle, Conner looked inside at all the pills. What will he do?
