"Hey! What the hell!?" you say in surprise. You didn't mean to say it like that, but you were just shocked. Sarina takes her hand out of your shorts as a reflex. "What?" she said.
"You're doing it again." you say.
"Doing what?" she asks. She seems legitimately oblivious to how you were feeling.
"You start kissing me and then you try to take it further." you say. "Sarina, I'm really not ready for this. I need time to think."
"I can't wait for that, [your name]." she says. "I've been in love with you for almost as long as I’ve known you."
“I know,” you say. “But this is going too fast for me. I need to think.”
Sarina lets out a long exhale. “You know, maybe this was a bad idea.” she says with a melancholy tone. “We should head home.” The two of you get dressed and walk back to the castle, neither of you saying a word along the way. When you get home, Sarina walks to her room with a slow, almost zombie-like pace.
Later that night, you pass by Sarina’s room and peek inside. You see that she’s asleep, lying on her bac . You silently walk in and head to her bedside. You look at her face and see dried tear marks. You felt really bad. You wanted to wake her up and talk to her, but how?
