This choice: Roll down your window and ask him if he needs a ride. • Go Back...
Chapter #5
Straight to the point
by: Unknown
"Excuse me?"
He turns with a start. His eyes look reddish. He sniffles. "Y-yes?"
"Hey. Yeah, I was, y'know, just in the area, and I was wondering if you...like, I'm not trying to be weird here, but do you--are you going somewhere? Do you need a ride, or something?" Gah, that was awkward. And he looks so flighty, too...
"Um..." He hesitates, looking down for a few seconds. "Y-yeah, that'd be nice..." Apparently that worked.
You give a little smile and unlock the side door. "Hop on in."
He shimmies into the passenger seat, his fur sopping wet. He grabs the seat belt with one hand and reaches it across his belly into his other hand. Now that you can get a good look at him up close and personal, you realize he's ever cuter than you thought. You've known you were bi since freshman year of high school--man, those were some awkward times--but you haven't had much luck with finding your kind of guys: cute and a little twink-y, but with a big bear belly. Ok, to be fair, you didn't have the purest of intentions in giving this guy a ride, but hey, it's still better than walking around in the cold rain, right?
"So, what's your name?"
"Axel."
"Axel, huh? Cool name. Your parents Guns 'N' Roses fans?"
"I-I dunno..." He seems to be shivering. You turn the heater up.
