Somehow Kenji felt himself drawn to the arcade, maybe because he had spent his fair share of quarters here as a kid. Unlike many of the other kids his age he had struggled to beat even the first level of most of the games there, though he always had fun playing. "Heh, I wonder if they still have Ms. Pac Man or Dig Dug?" He said with a laugh as he stepped into the dimly lit room filled with glowing machines waiting for children to come in and play them. If not for the zombies walking the streets outside, it would have been just like any other day. Kenji walked towards the counter near the back without even noticing the blood smeared over the front of a pinball machine over next to the vending and change machines. "Hello? Hello, is anyone here...?" He asked as he looked around the shadowy room. Silence.
"Damn it, why did I even bother coming in here? This is no time for nostalgia." Kenji muttered as he hopped over the counter. "Hopefully, there's at least something here that can help me..." Many of the shelves below the counter were empty or contained boxes of stuffed prizes for the crane machine. There was a handgun laying on the floor under an overturned box, but it was empty and the clip was missing. Nothing else of vaule could be found. "Nothing." Kenji groaned as he kicked one of the boxes. "Should I try the back room? I've already wasted enough time here... maybe I should just go." His desire to leave was strong... yet he couldn't shake the feeling that something else might be found in the back room...
