Chapter #6Taste test by: Kane01   Ash looked up at the cub, trying to determine what he was going to do. He had a strange look on his face, as though he were debating what to do, then he saw the dark lips part. It looked as though he really would be eaten. His heart pounded in his chest as the mouth opened and drew closer. He breath quickened, he was sure this would be his end. A scream was rising in his throat but he forced it down. If he was to die, he would die with dignity.
The Tip of the tongue slipped out from between those lips like some huge serpent. It pressed him into the center pad of the palm and molded around him. Where his skin was bare, he could feel the taste buds tingle as they registered his particular flavor. When the tongue lifted away, Ash was covered in a thick layer of saliva.
'I've been slimed!' he thought to himself.
Little Bear pondered the taste of the tiny creature before him. A bit salty, But there was no doubt it was human, it looked like a human, it felt like a human, it smelled like a human, and tasted like a human. Who would've guessed that time he licked Emily on a dare would be useful. But where did he come from? Perhaps he should ask.
He looked about to make sure he wasn't being observed, then he lowered his face closer and whispered "Hello."
'Great.' Ash though as he wiped his face clean 'After covering me in goo NOW he wants to talk.' Well, there was no point in being hostile. After all, he wasn't the one who could crush him with one finger.
"Hello yourself," said Ash.
"I hope I didn't scare you."
"Scare me? Of course not." sure he'd been scared out of his wits, but no point in letting the cub know that.
"My name is Little Bear. Do you have a name?"
"My name is Ash, and you are the biggest Little Bear I've ever seem."
That confused the cub for a moment, until he realized he was a giant compared to the tiny. The more he thought of it, EVERYTHING was giant to him.
"Where do you come from? I've never seen anyone as small as you before. "
"Far away. I just woke up here."
"You are all alone?"
"Yes,"
"I could take you home."
Ash chucked "I'm sure you could, But I think it's too far for even you. I wouldn't even know which way to go." he shook the Saliva from his hands "I've really gotten myself in a mess this time. By the way, why did you taste me?"
"I wanted to be sure you were human. Sorry about that."
"Nah, it's fine. It's just not something that happens every day. Actually, once I got over my fear I thought it was kinda fun."
This made Little Bear think for a moment, the tiny human thought it was fun?
"Do you want me to do it again?"
Ash could tell from the look on the cub's face that he wanted to play. Playing with a mountain with fur could be dangerous. Then again, it wasn't like he had anything better to do at the moment. Heck, when was he ever going to get a chance like this again?
"You don't have any friends around here do you?"
Little Bear shook his head.
"Neither do I. So, lets play."
With that , the cub gave Ash another lick. This time more playfully. Then he licked him a third time.   indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
