The creature came back. This time it carried a glass jar filled with a white liquid, which it dumped down on Ash as if he’d be caught under a waterfall. The liquid was numbingly cold and for a few moments it seemed like he would drown in it but he kicked upward and broke the surface. He got a mouth full of the stuff. It was milk. A bit richer in taste than what he was used to but it was milk all the same.
“And Done”
Done? Done of what? BeforeAsh could figure it out the bowl was lifted and carried, the contents being sloshed around. Grabbing onto one of the “inner tubes”. He felt the bowl set down. Looking up he saw another giant creature. This one looked back down, but didn’t see him. It had a look on its face, one Ash recognized.
Hunger.
A huge spoon came into view. Ash realized what was happening but powerless to do anything to stop it. A spoon full of what he now knew was cereal was lifted up to it’s mouth. It ate slowly happily chewing its mouthful. It slowly lowered the spoon as it swallowed. It was coming right for him. He wanted to swim but his numb legs refused to move. The spoon went under him and he was lifted upward.
“N-no, D-don’t…” was all Ash could say as it slowly opened it’s huge mouth.
Chamametchi got herself another mouthful of the cereal. What was unknown to her was that there was something other then cereal in her spoon. Something that was considered so small, she probably had a really small chance of noticing it. Heck, she probably would just chew it up like it was nothing!"
